International Teleradiology Operates Across USA, UK, New Zealand, Bermuda & Australia

International Teleradiology radiologists are certified, licensed and credentialed at your hospital or practice, just as they would be if working from your premises as employees or contractors.

All the Radiologists we employ are fully qualified in their own country. Wherever they are based, all Radiologists must work to the relevant overall standards that apply for your hospital and location: in the USA, those of the American College of Radiology; in Europe, those of the European Association of Radiology. As well, staff covering European-based hospitals must adhere to standards regulated by the national societies.

Our Radiologists have the same standards as those in your hospital, and International Teleradiology maintains an on-going schedule for them to obtain continuing medical education accreditation.

ITC holds a policy with an internationally renowned provider of professional indemnity and medical malpractice insurance that is specific to the global provision of teleradiology services.

ITC USA

For our US operations, ITC requires radiologists to be certified with the American Board of Radiology, to hold the relevant state licence and to obtain physician privileges at the hospital. We comply with HIPAA regulations, the American College of Radiology Teleradiology standards and we are obtaining JCAHO accreditation.

ITC UK

International Teleradiology radiologists servicing our UK partner hospitals must be members of the General Medical Council General Medical Register and hold a Certificate of Subspecialty in Radiology. We are in compliance with the Royal College of Radiology Teleradiology Standards, and the European Association of Radiology Teleradiology Guidelines.

ITC Australia

International Teleradiology’s Australian service is provided by radiologists located in Australia and who hold an Australian state medical license relevant to the location of the hospital.

ITC New Zealand

For our New Zealand operations we require radiologists who are certified with either the American Board of Radiology, the UK Specialist Register and/or hold the Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. We have gained permission from the New Zealand medical council to provide this service.
